We call agriculture “The Science of Life” and know that people who think they are not connected to agriculture will find connections to our research by looking no further than their refrigerators, pantries, yards, clothes closets, medicine chests, parks, favorite restaurants or weather forecasts.
The UAES supports researchers in all seven of Utah State University’s colleges. Their work covers a spectrum of topics as varied as animal reproduction, turfgrass irrigation, integrated pest management, nutrition, water quality, food safety, wheat breeding, anti-viral drug discovery and family dynamics. The UAES is part of the network of state experiment stations based at the nation’s land-grant universities. Experiment stations work in concert with the Cooperative Extension Service to provide unbiased, research-based information to people throughout the county. See the links below to meet our researchers and view our projects.
